ARTTIKA
The archive

Five chapters

All →

Each chapter is its own curatorial world: a different palette, emotional state, or idea about what happens when real art becomes an everyday object.

    The rule

    One fragment.
    Never the whole painting.

    Documented before it is printed

Artist, title, date, holding institution, source and rights are recorded first. If a work cannot be documented, it is not printed.

    Open access only

Image files come from institutions that publish them as CC0, Public Domain Mark or Open Access. A free painting does not make every photograph of it free.

    Made after you order

Nothing is manufactured in advance. Each piece is produced in Egypt once the order is confirmed by phone.

    Shop by object
The ARTTIKA packaging system laid out flat: warm-white mailer, black tissue and dark-red seal, folded garment, object tag and the full card family
    Packaging

    Part of
    the piece.

One line is printed inside the lid, where only the person opening it will read it. Inside: the piece folded in black tissue, closed with a dark-red seal, and the Artwork Record naming the work behind the design.
